Hi, my name is Nina Rycroft and I’m an illustrator and online educator with more than two decades of experience working as a picture book illustrator. I am now licensing my artwork to companies.
My number one goal is to create joyful, whimsical art that inspires story and sparks the imagination. I like to think of Wink as art that is anchored in a sense of fun and wonder.

Wink is the work of Nina Rycroft. Her goal is to inspire joy and wonder with her whimsical, story-led art. With a background in children’s picture book illustration, Nina’s strength is bringing story to her animals and florals with the use of colour, line, and heartfelt imagination.
Storytelling is a fundamental part of the human experience and is passed down to inspire the imagination and curiosity of our younger generations. The stories and the characters we grew up on, helped us to understand our (sometimes complex) world and create emotional connections. At Wink, we believe that every artwork is an opportunity to spark joy, wonder, and a deep sense of connection.
